Gone Home, Home Gone

Broken Stone

From a world gone by

The roof splayed open

For the night time sky.

Walls of biscuits

Brick strewn crumbs

A place to hide

For the long lost bums.

Nobody’s casa

A portal of loss

A kitchen platter

Of dust and moss.

Empty voices

Giving silence a new tone

The hay of decay

A rusted body and bone.
